  2. Depending upon the payment chosen, a 2.4% Credit Card fee (applied to the Cowichan Football registration fee only) or $1.50 Interac fee will apply

Checklist before first practice:

After your player has been registered, please bring following to the field:

  • proof of age i.e.: BC Services Card, Birth Certificate or Passport
  • $300 Equipment deposit cheque
  • $100 Volunteer bond cheque (see Parent Volunteers page for more info)
  • $100 Fundraising bond cheque (see Parent Volunteers page for more info)
  • Cleats and a water bottle. More information regarding other equipment will be provided before first gear practice.

Cowichan Football Registration Fees are used for:

  • Officiating
  • Field preparation and rental
  • Replacement and upgrading of practice equipment
  • Player gear – pads (shoulder, thigh, hip, knee, tailbone), helmets, mouth guards, game socks and game jerseys/pants
  • Training Supplies, Safety and education
  • Administration Supplies

Once fees are paid/discussed at the time of registration and all deposit/bond cheques (equipment, volunteer and fundraising) are received, your player will then be able to receive his/her equipment and take part in the on field activities, but not before.  Equipment deposit and Volunteer/Fundraising bond cheques are held by the club until the end of the season. As long as the volunteer and fundraising requirements are met and all gear is returned in good, clean condition, these bond cheques will be returned to the family or are shredded.  Please note – the CFVA does not want to cash these cheques as we would rather have the volunteer time and have our gear back!

Cowichan Football welcomes and encourages both male and female players to play at all age group levels.

If your child has any individual needs, contact the team Head Coach and Team Manager so that they can maximize your child’s enjoyment and involvement.

Pre-arranged payments for Kidsport/Jumpstart Programs are also available. (see link below)

The Cowichan Valley Football Association is a proud supporter of Kidsport.
